xThe 4-14 Anorak is called “CAT” and takes inspiration from the Counter Assault Team (CAT), a specialized tactical unit of the United States Secret Service that provides tactical support to the Presidential Protection Division to protect the President of the United States .
The choice of this evocative name derives from the fact that its use will not only be to "protect" the wearer from the cold and wind, but also as an excellent "tactical support" thanks to the possibility of carrying specific equipment material and keep them hidden.
All this thanks to the front pocket characterized by the "Pouch Attachment Ladder System" (PALS), which can be integrated both with "standard utility pouch" and with our #panels4-14 specifically designed to support different specific configurations. The Anorak CAT is a jacket that can be worn as the last layer of clothing.
The main (external) fabric is micro rip-stop nylon with DWR treatment, while the internal lining is micro fleece.
In the upper part there is the hood, with a semi-rigid visor, and inside lined with mesh that avoids direct contact with the body.
On the sleeves there are two pockets surmounted by Velcro patches (shoulder height), while the lower part of the torso is characterized by a pocket with double access (Right/SX) which, being lined in micro-fleece, offers the opportunity to " hand warmer”.
An additional pocket with double access has been created in the lower rear part, useful for stowing light poncho towels or vice versa used as a dump pouch.
The central front area is the real revolution of our Anorak.
CAT stands out from any other anorak due to its marsupial pocket designed to be opened quickly thanks to an increased grip and above all to two non-stop sliders that guarantee fast sliding.
Inside there are three Pouch Attachment Ladder System tapes, topped with Velcro, designed to configure the chest according to the required set-up.
Although the possible set-ups are infinite, we have created four panels that can be fixed using Velcro and which respond to the most common needs: Pistol Panel, Rifle Panel, Med Panel, Breacher Panel.
Finally, the Anorak CAT can be folded on itself to facilitate transport in bags or wherever deemed most appropriate.
