RIFAK (Rip-Away IFAK) is the new individual first aid kit designed to contain the life-saving medical aids necessary for the implementation of the MARCH protocol. The RIFAK has two distinct components: an external casing and a removable internal insert, where the medical devices are contained. The release system was developed to be extremely safe but also intuitive to extract.

CHARACTERISTICS:
- Thanks to the Rip-Away system the operator will be able to reach all medical facilities in less than 6 seconds.
- There is no risk that the medical aids may accidentally come out of the insert, even when suddenly extracting it, because they are secured on all sides.
- No "embellishments" have been added (e.g. medical crosses, velcro, embroidery...) that could confuse the operator. The only portion highlighted in red is the extraction handle.
- The external elastic cord can be used to compress the pocket size as well as to carry a Tourniquet.
- On the lateral PALS/MOLLE it is possible to install additional pockets and/or attach tools such as Scissors, Strap-Cutters and Tourniquets.

OPERATIONAL NEEDS

We have developed this medical KIT starting from real operational needs. The result is an extremely compact IFAK with an easy and intuitive extraction system. In combination with our FORK Panel it can be mounted under common plate carriers as a kangaroo pocket. In the photo: Operators of the 185th RRAO using the RIFAK.
