The shape of the front part of the REDPOWER piston head has been designed to further reduce the stress due to impact with the PAD of the cylinder head even at high ROF. The REDPOWER head does not have the double sealing/centering O-RING, but has a small recess which reduces the contact surface with the inside of the cylinder, to reduce friction to a minimum. The total height of the TopMax piston head is standardized to the dimensions of the other piston heads on the market. The ERGAL and DELRIN insert for fixing the piston head on the piston is slightly shorter than the standard market size, to be able to use the TopMax piston head on any piston on the market.

The REDPOWER piston head, during the compression phase, uses the Venturi principle, thus generating a more homogeneous compression of the O-RING for any configuration in which it is installed. The compression chamber is sized to allow an optimal compression O-RING opening time and to prevent more power than necessary from being delivered in FULL AUTO mode, creating surges in the trajectory of the pellets.

Usable on any configuration, from low-ROF to high-ROF, we still recommend using the REDPOWER head on configurations with ROF greater than 25 bb/s, to take advantage of the early compression that derives from the position of the anti-vacuum holes. The STRESS-TESTS carried out on the REDPOWER piston head were carried out with springs higher than those required by law, so the product will guarantee reliability and performance even with more advanced configurations.
