UNITY - FAST™ Aimpoint Micro Mount - Black

FAST™ is a series of optical mounts and platforms that provide end users with a faster visual image than standard height mounts. An optical centerline height of 2.26 inches provides faster/easier reticle acquisition while wearing electronic headsets/communications headsets, night vision devices and gas masks and allows for faster visual processing of the field of battle by promoting a head-up posture. A head-up posture also helps users maintain a neutral spinal position that is more comfortable while wearing helmets, tacticals and other heavy gear.

The micro FAST™ mount features built-in standard-height backup iron sights that keep weapons tidy, without reducing capacity. Both the front and rear BUIS are fully adjustable for windage and elevation. The front sight post can be removed so that the rear BUIS aperture can be used with a traditional sight such as our fixed or fold-down sights (if equipped), creating a more conventional aiming range. However, the integrated front/rear BUIS is perfect for backing up on super short PDW/SMG platforms where rail space is critical for mounting lights and lasers.

Designed for Aimpoint® Micro (H1, H2, T1, T2, CompM5) and other Aimpoint® Micro footprint optics, such as those found on many Sig Sauer®, Holosun®, Primary Arms® and Vortex Optics® platforms. NOTE: WILL NOT FIT AIMPOINT COMP M5S OR M5B.

The micro FAST™ mount comes with a standard rail clamp mount, but is designed to readily accept an American Defense Manufacturing® patented Auto-Lock™ QD lever (sold separately). This mounting option will provide quick detachment capabilities. The proprietary Unity nut is required to prevent damage to the mounting interface. WARNING: Using a standard (non-Unity proprietary) ADM nut will cause damage to the host rail and is not covered under warranty.
